Flooring
Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate and tile — installed over leveled subfloors with clean transitions, by a crew that treats the base as seriously as the surface.
The finish you touch all day
Flooring is the surface underfoot in every room, every day, and the market has changed more in ten years than in the previous fifty. The J Hammer installs every major flooring type and — just as important — preps the base underneath so the floor lies flat and stays that way.
What we install
- Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) — waterproof, scratch-resistant and quiet; the go-to for families with kids and pets.
- Hardwood and engineered wood — the floor buyers pay for; engineered handles our dry climate and slab foundations well.
- Laminate — a budget performer that photographs like wood and resists scratches.
- Tile — the wet-zone champion for baths, laundry and entries, including wood-look plank tile.
The subfloor is the real product
Floor problems are usually subfloor problems in disguise. Before we quote, we check slab moisture and flatness; before we install, we level where needed. A beautiful floor over a bad base is a callback with a delay timer — lippage, hollow spots and squeaks all trace back to prep that got skipped.
Clean transitions and details
Where flooring meets tile, thresholds, stairs and cabinets is where a professional job shows. We plan transitions, undercut door casings for a factory look, and match reducers and trim so the whole floor reads as one intentional surface. We help you choose the right material for how each room actually gets used.
